My perfect job would be a professional ping-pong player. My money would be very valuable to me. I would make $1200 a month. Just to pay for utilities it would take 45% of my money. My cell phone would cost me $72 dollars a month. Groceries would cost me 16.666 pecent of my money. Gas would also cost me 13.333 percent of my money. I'm running out of money and I still would like to put some into savings and some money for entertainment. I would spend 196 dollars a month on entertainment, then I would put 132 dollars into savings. Money is very scarce for me.

For a Challenge

The area of the rug is "r"squared x 3.14. The area of the room is 4r squared. The area of the room uncovered by the rug is 4r - ("r"squaredx3.14).

Gas Prices

As the gas prices keep dropping and dropping, I beginning to wonder how much I would pay for a week for my Dodge Charger. To fill up my Charger it would cost me 25 dollars a week to fill up my tank. I got that by doing 350(miles frove per week)/24mpg x $1.73=25.229. Last time I posted about gas prices it costed 57 dollars a week for gas. That is a difference of 34 dollars!
I think the reason for the lower gas prices is a combination of things. One reason is that when gas prices were so high in the summer it got people of the roads. Now the oil companies want people driving again so the make gas affordable. Another reason for low gas prices is that  with unemployment rates going up, less people are driving to work and back which lowers oil consumption. Those are some of the reasons for the low gas prices.

Polynomial Video

After watching the polynomial video I hadn't learned anything to new. But one thing I learned was that an equation with 3 monomials is call a trinomial. Something that is cleared up for me is that I realized that unlike terms can not be combined whatsoever. Even though that video didn't teach me much, it cleared up a little bit on polynomials for me.

Money Saving Tips

Article 1

With gas prices being out of the roof in the summer I decided to look at an article with hybrid cars vs. normal cars. This article relates to my parents because they have a commute of 70 miles. That is about 350 miles a week if they commute together, and you can't forget to add on trip to the store and other places. I chose this article because I wanted to see if hybrids actually saves you money. The article says that a hybrid car will save you $565 a year in gas. But the article also says that the high price of the car will not save you money until you reach 100,000 miles. Also, hybrids have higher maintenece fees. After reading that article I realized that hybrid cars do not save you money

Article 2

Like most people in the summer I get hot during the night, and when the fan cannot keep you cool I can't sleep. So I looked at an article about a fan that goes under your top cover and over the bottom cover. It is a lot cheaper to run than the a/c and uses less electricity. It is only $90 and is a very quit machine. I think the bedfan would be right for me because it saves electricity, keeps me cool, and runs quitely.
